Youth Department - Happy Hill Baptist Church
The Youth Department welcomes all Jr. High and High School teens. We have a vibrant youth department which is centerally involved in our church and its ministries, as well as enjoying our own monthly activites.

Youth Leaders Dan and Zina have both attended Tyndale Bible Institute & Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth. Dan has earned his Diploma of Advanced Biblical Studies. Zina's father was a Southern Baptist Minster and Dan was called to the ministry as a high school senior. Dan & Zina have been continuously involved in church ministry since they were youth! They have been leading the Youth department at Happy Hill Baptist Church since 2007.
Dan and Zina are parents of four - A son and daughter who are recent HS graduates, and two sons who are currently in high school.

Bible Studies
Our Bible Studies are either chapter-by-chapter Bible studies, or we will do a series on a special topic.
Examples have been a chronological study through the gospels, based on Luke, followed by the Book of Acts.
Special topics have included an Old Testament survey, a theology survey based on the Southern Baptist Faith and Mission and a study of End Times Prophecies which included the whole Bible, and ended with a book study of Revelation.
Our current Sunday morning study is the Book of Romans.
Youth Activities Highlights
Some of the fun stuff!
Puppets and Drama - The Youth department has a healthy puppet ministry which currently meets on Wednesday nights. They have a very active role each year in Vacation Bible School and also pop up in other church events throughout the year.
Vacation Bible School - Besides the puppets, the Youth department is always very active in preparing for and supporting annual Vacation Bible School. This has always been a successful ministry at Happy Hill, and the Teens take a full portion of the work and the fun!
Summer Camp - Our youth go to Church Camp each summer and have had great experiences, typically camp for the youth and workers is 100% funded.
Wall climbing at Dyno-Rock - Three times now (as of this writing) we've gone to Dyno-Rock, usually finishing off with a pizza buffet! View pictures and videos from the first time we went.
"The Promise" - Glen Rose The youth went, and took the rest of the church with them! "The Promise" is an awesome outdoor amphitheater presentation of the life of Christ. Not to be missed!
Air Show - Now that was fun! Not sure how soon we'll do it again (whew!) but it was a great time and a unique experience.
Main Event - Main Event has become another favorite monthly activity for the Youth, with the all the games, laser tag, air hockey, pool, bowling, and food available, what's not to like?
Summer Pool Parties - Summer evening, pizza, and a private swimming pool - We've had a few of these and hope to do more! Ladies - no bikinis!
